An ad placed in the December 15, 1802 Georgia Republican & State Intelligencer stated "the subscriber has taken into copartnership with him JOHN PEARSON - the business in future will be conducted under the firm of Letourneau & Pearson, who intend on carrying on the above business in all its various branches- silver and gold work- jewellery and fancy hair work- gilding and engraving, executed in the newest and most fashionable manner, at the shortest notice. N.B. The highest price will be given for old gold and silver. JOHN LETOURNEAU. An ad that same month in the Columbian Museum and Savannah Advertiser lists a huge assortment of retail goods to be purchased at their establishment "in Madden's Row near the Exchange." On Nov. 14, 1817 Pearson published the following notice: “John Pearson, having retired from his professional business of jewelry and watchmaking, notifies those who have watches and jewelry jobs in his possession, that they may receive them by applying to D. B. Nichols. If not taken away by the first of April next, will be sold for repairs.”
