A miniature watercolor portrait of a young woman in a pink dress lined with white ruffles and wearing a long gold necklace. Her head faces the viewer while her body faces the proper left. The woman has pinned back hair to her neck where loose curls drape over her shoulders. She has large prominent blue eyes with brown arched brows, rosy cheeks and plump bright pink lips. The miniature is in a leather-bound case with brass hinges and clasp, lined in red velvet with a gold (metal) matte with an oval window.
