A Chippendale-style mahogany chamfered, straight legged side chair with stretchers, a pierced vase back splat, and a shaped crest rail. The chair boasts two modern front corner blocks. The seat is made of a black needlepoint decorated with a floral bouquet and a cockatoo motif.

The seats are upholstered in floral needlepoint designs. The chairs descended in the Anderson/ Wallace/ Owens/ Thomas family and were gifted to the museum by cousins Margaret Thomas and Mary Haines.
