Clockmaker Aaron Willard Jr. was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts on June 29, 1783, into America’s leading clockmaking family. It is thought that he probably learned the skill of clockmaking from his family. Aaron Willard, Jr. retired from clockmaking sometime around 1850 and moved to Newton, Massachusetts. He died on May 2nd, 1864.
