The Polaroid camera fit perfectly into Warhol’s artistic creed that art should be fast, reproducible, and about modern life. These photographs were later organized into small red albums that he compiled himself. In 2013, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts donated Little Red Book #051 to Telfair Museums. This album features 11 photographs of various people in Warhol’s circle of friends and celebrities including Donna Jordan, Sandy and Ryan Brant, Pat Ast, Paul Morrissey, and François-Marie Banier.
