Label Text
Although the artist made notes on a 1992 painting indicating that it would be her last, the artist apparently executed or completed this painting in 1994, making this her last dated painting. Despite the title, the presence of a little girl playing and the bright palette imbue this painting with a feeling of hope and rebirth.
