Created outdoors and shaped by the elements—sun, wind, rain, and the quiet presence of insects and animals—the sculpture invites our interaction with the natural world. Cut-outs in the steel let light, sky, and moonlight filter through, becoming spaces for life to gather and grow. Gary repurposes these "negative" cut-outs into new forms, symbolizing the beauty of turning shadow into light. This process mirrors personal transformation: embracing what seems complicated or unseen to discover hidden strength and wholeness. The Moon Sower embodies this rhythm of seeding, rooting, growing, and blooming—both in nature and within ourselves.
