Jordan had a specially constructed pencil holder, and used memorized colors to fill in indentations he made with pencil on paper. Jordan's landscapes, still life subjects and abstracts were exhibited at his own gallery in downtown Savannah and the artist was the subject of a national article in Readers Digest. Jordan taught his method by correspondence to an English aviator who had lost his sight.
