A photograph in mainly brown and green tones depicting a cabinet-style television floating screen up in bayou water. The farther shore of the bayou angles across the top eighth of the image, where two red surveyor's flags can be seen. In the lower right corner is a patch of daisy or chamomile-like flowers and greenery.

Greiner William K. Greiner became inspired to pursue photography after encountering William Eggleston’s color photographs in a monograph produced for the 1976 Museum of Modern Art exhibition titled William Eggleston’s Guide. Greiner studied under Eggleston and began to carve out his own personal vision, taking studied color photographs. Between 1989 to 1998, Greiner captured scenes of his home state of Louisiana, often spotlighting objects or places that meditate on beauty in the midst of pathos. This image of a half-submerged television set in the bayou reminds the viewer that even when humans are physically absent, their material goods remain.
