The Sabrett Food Products division manufactures rolls, frankfurters, hamburgers, and sausages for wholesale distribution. They service over two thousand vendors daily within the five boroughs of New York and are sustained from these profits.
The vending of frankfurters was started in 1920 when the public needed a quick snack at a reasonable price. In addition to manufacturing the fold sold in vending carts, Sabrett Food Products has a division called Carts Unlimited Corp., which sells the vending carts. Mobile vending is one of the top money-making low-investment enterprises in the country. It provides refreshment to people in areas such as playgrounds, parks, beaches, and fairgrounds, where a full-time restaurant is not feasible.
